Casa Esperanza (House of Hope) is a long-term residential care program for young adults with significant special needs at For His Children. FHC will be the permanent home and forever family for the young adults over 16 years (the maximum age of adoption within Ecuador). Attention and resources are dedicated to providing specialized care for these permanent residents with different abilities because we believe they are unique and precious - created in God’s image. FHC’s desire is to not only provide basic care, but to provide every resource available for a child or young adult to reach their full potential.

In addition to the daily physical, emotional and spiritual care provided to all the children and young adults at FHC, an occupational caregiver develops a program and goals for each young adult in Casa Esperanza. Incorporating occupational therapy-related activities, she helps each individual to grow in their independence, feel valued, and gain self-confidence. Some of these activities include daily hygiene routines, developing job skills and projects such as cooking, gardening, sewing and crafts.

Your support allows FHC to provide encouragement and hope. You ensure these children and young adults know God loves them and has a plan for their lives. To support the residents of Casa Esperanza, click HERE.
