EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Jen joined For His Children in 2009. She served as the International Ministries Coordinator for many years. In her role as Executive Director, she oversees the staff of For His Children, connects with donors, serves on the Board of Directors and promotes the organization around the world. Jen is a graduate of Gordon College with degrees in Elementary Education and Spanish, and holds a master’s degree in Holistic Child Development. Jen resides in Norfolk, Virginia.

NATIONAL DIRECTOR, HOGAR PARA SUS NIÑOS

Verónica came on staff in 2001. She oversees the Ecuadorian organization of For His Children (Corporación Para Sus Niños). Her role is to plan and execute all operational activities that occur at the homes in Quito and Latacunga. Verónica oversees our team of staff in Ecuador. She has a degree as a Bilingual Executive Secretary and has received training in administration, leadership, and human resources. Verónica resides in Quito, Ecuador.

DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

Megan volunteered at FHC-Latacunga in Fall 2015 and came on staff in 2016. She is responsible for managing FHC’s fundraising initiatives, marketing efforts and sponsorship programs. She seeks to spread the vision of FHC to prospective donors. Megan has worked in marketing, human resources and operational management. She is a graduate of Northwestern College with a B.A. in Business Administration. Megan resides in Quito, Ecuador.

DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

Darwin joined the team in 2023. His connection to the ministry is very unique, as he was cared for at FHC at a young age. Darwin loves connecting with FHC supporters and churches - getting to know them and share about how they're impacting the children's lives. Darwin recently graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno, with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Political Science. He resides in Reno, NV.

COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR

Nathy joined the FHC staff in 2018. She is passionate about working with vulnerable children, loves meeting new people and creating meaningful relationships with our supporters. She is overseeing communications and the child sponsorship program as part of the Development Team. She has a degree in Pre-Hospital Care and Emergency Management from Ecuador’s Central University. Nathy resides in Quito, Ecuador.

VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR

Stephy joined the FHC team in 2023. She oversees pre-trip planning and training for short-term mission teams. She also coordinates the FHC Intern Program and hosts short-term teams and visitors. Stephy is passionate about biblical counseling and attends a local Church in Quito. She graduated from Universidad Tecnologica Equinoccial with a degree in foreign trade. Stephy resides in Quito, Ecuador.

SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

Jenn came on staff with FHC in 2018. She coordinates the spiritual development of the children, young adults, and staff at FHC - providing opportunities for them to connect with God through stories, song and crafts. She also leads short-term mission teams, guiding them through the daily activities onsite with the children. Jenn is a certified Multiengine Commercial Pilot and has worked as a teacher’s aid and wedding planner. She resides in Quito, Ecuador.

QUITO AND LATACUNGA STAFF

Within Ecuador, a team of dedicated staff ensure the children receive the highest quality care and love. Corporación Para Sus Niños is the Ecuadorian legal organization of For His Children that carries out the operations of the two homes in-country. They employ approximately 70 full- and part-time staff members. The team includes caregivers (tías), social workers, psychologists, speech and physical therapists, and teachers.
