A letter to you
Dear friend,
I’ll never forget the moment the social worker told me that Victoria* still doesn’t have a birth certificate. I couldn’t believe what that meant.
I’ll tell you more in a moment but first let me share the good news:
A generous group of friends of For His Children has offered to match every gift we receive—up to $45,000—between now and September 21st. That means every dollar you give will be doubled!
And here is why that news is so important:
Victoria is three years old. She was abandoned as a newborn — and still doesn’t have a birth certificate. Without it, she isn’t recognized in official records—she isn’t seen. She can’t go to school, receive proper medical care, or be adopted into a permanent family.
Can you imagine how vulnerable that makes her? It breaks my heart.
That’s why your gift is so important. It helps provide legal advocacy to secure her documents, social work to find her a safe family, and the daily care she needs while she waits. And not just for Victoria but for all the children at FHC.
Without your support, Victoria could remain unseen. Your gift provides legal advocacy, social work, and daily care—helping her go to school, receive medical care, and find a loving forever family.
And today, your gift will be doubled:
● Your donation of $50 will be doubled by matching funds to $100.
● $100 will double to $200 to help Victoria.
● And if you can give $150, matching funds will turn your donation into $300 to help children be seen, valued, and loved in a family.
But we must act quickly. To unlock the full $45,000 in matching funds, we need to hear from you no later than September 21st.
Victoria deserves to be recognized, cared for, and given the chance to belong to a family. With your support, she will no longer be invisible — she will be seen, valued, and loved.
You can give here: Gift for Victoria
Don’t let Victoria stay invisible. Please consider sending your most generous gift today, knowing it will be doubled to make twice the impact.
With gratitude,
Jen Thomas
