World Adoption Day
Dear friend,
Today, on World Adoption Day, we have something truly beautiful to celebrate!
In 2026, 6 children from For His Children have been welcomed into new families through adoption, and 2 more have been reunited with their biological families.
Six adoptions. Two reunifications. Eight remarkable stories of love, hope, and belonging.
As an adoptive mother myself, this celebration is especially close to my heart. My two sons have taught me that becoming a family is so much more than a single moment. It happens in the everyday experiences of loving, learning, building trust, and discovering what it means to belong.
And behind every one of these eight individual stories is a journey that began long before a child went home.
At For His Children, our greatest hope is for every child to grow up in a safe, loving family.
Sometimes that means the beginning of a new family through adoption. Other times, it means the healing and restoration that allows a child to return safely to the family they were born into.
Both are beautiful expressions of the Gospel being lived out through love.
But these happy endings don't happen overnight.
Behind each adoption and reunification are months, sometimes years, of careful legal work, psychological support, family preparation, and patient relationship-building.
Today, we're inviting you on World Adoption Day to help write the next chapter for more children in Ecuador.
A gift to our Legal and Advocacy Fund supports the dedicated social workers, legal professionals, and psychologists who help children heal, prepare families, and carefully navigate the path toward adoption or safe reunification.
If adoption has touched your life in some way, will you please consider a special gift to help more children experience the love and care of a family?
