Daniela’s Journey
Daniela* was completely focused in the little playhouse in the yard. As she mixed grass, stones, and dirt in a tiny container, she sang softly and narrated everything she was doing.
“Daniela*, what are you making?”
“I’m making a little soup,” she replied with a smile.
Moments like these may seem simple, but they tell a beautiful story of the impact you are making in Daniela’s* life.
Because of your generosity, Daniela* is growing up in a safe and loving home where she is free to learn, play, dream, and simply be a child. She feels secure, cared for, and surrounded by people who encourage her every step of the way.
One of Daniela’s* favorite parts of the week is going to her physical therapy sessions. She leaves home excited, telling her tias she is going to exercise, and returns feeling proud of herself and all she is learning. She is still working on improving her walking and positioning her feet correctly, but thanks to your support, she has access to the care and encouragement she needs to keep making progress.
Your kindness also provides opportunities for learning every day. Through play, Daniela* is discovering new concepts, practicing numbers and letters, and developing skills that will help her thrive in the future. Recently, she has been learning the vowel “i” and the number 4, celebrating each new achievement with excitement.
Most importantly, because she feels loved and secure, Daniela’s* imagination is flourishing. She loves pretending she is a princess on a grand adventure while painting, singing, playing, or even exercising. The confidence and joy she displays today are possible because caring people like you have chosen to invest in her future.
